PLC Drip Nitrogen Reduction Control Panel
Siemens LOGO! PLC control · drip dispersal · nitrogen reduction. 120 VAC single phase, two separate feeds. Panel model MCP-LV120-15A-PLCFS-1P-R1.0. For Hydro-Action® wastewater treatment systems. UL 508A Listed, file E547664.
This panel is fed by TWO separate 120 V circuits: main power and a dedicated alarm / control feed. The alarm feed keeps annunciation live when main power is lost, so it remains energized with the main breaker off. Disconnect BOTH circuits and verify with a voltage tester before opening the panel — do not assume the main breaker isolates this enclosure. The remote alarm circuit must not exceed 5 A. This panel contains no motor overload devices; every connected motor must incorporate integral overload protection. A main panel disconnect and pressure switches 1 and 2 are field supplied.

- Model
- CP-001-1-0002 — PLC Drip Nitrogen Reduction Control Panel · panel model MCP-LV120-15A-PLCFS-1P-R1.0
- Supply
- 120 VAC, 60 Hz, single phase, all circuits — two feeds: main power and a separate alarm / control feed
- Connected load
- 24.0 A total across four motors
- Branch protection
- CB1 20 A · CB2 20 A · CB3 10 A · CB4 10 A
- Alarm circuit
- Remote alarm circuit must not exceed 5 A
- Motor loads
- Dose pump 3/10 HP, 7.0 FLA · mixer 3/10 HP, 7.0 FLA · recirculation pump ¼ HP, 5.0 FLA · compressor ¼ HP, 5.0 FLA
- Overloads
- None in this panel — every motor must incorporate integral overload protection
- Control platform
- Siemens LOGO! PLC — 8 digital inputs, 4 relay outputs. Runs the dose schedule, motor sequencing, filter backflush, drip field flush, override counting and failsafe logic.
- Dose schedule
- Dose ON 12 minutes · dose OFF 1.75 hours, as specified. The PLC ships programmed and verified — do not alter the program, timers or retentive counters without written direction from AKHA Manufacturing, LLC.
- Override
- The override float forces a dose cycle outside the schedule whenever demand requires it. The PLC counts and retains every override — a climbing count is a maintenance record indicating sustained high inflow, to be investigated at the source rather than corrected at the panel.
- Protection
- High water is annunciation only — it raises the beacon, horn and remote alarm output and never interrupts dosing, recirculation, mixing or aeration. If treatment stops during a high-water event, look for a separate fault, not the float.
- Operator controls
- B1 alarm horn silence (rotary) · B2 alarm test · B3 filter flush HAND · B4 dose pump HAND · B5 field flush HAND
- Field devices
- Two flush solenoids · four floats (recirculation, drip enable, override, alarm) · pressure switches 1 and 2, field supplied
- Field wiring
- 26–10 AWG copper, 600 V, 60 °C minimum · Dinkle DK10, DK4 / DK4N-PE, DK2.5 / DK2.5N-PE
- Terminal torque
- Dinkle rated values — DK4 at 0.6 N·m (5.3 in-lbs) · DK2.5 at 0.4 N·m (3.5 in-lbs) · DK10 per the Dinkle datasheet. Never apply a single blanket figure across terminal types.
